GLAZED TOP MEAT LOAF 
1/3 c. tomato ketchup
1/4 c. water
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 1/2 lbs. ground round
2 eggs
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In small bowl, combine the 1/3 cup ketchup and water. Stir in bread crumbs and set aside.

In large bowl, place meat, eggs, onion, salt, and pepper; add bread crumb mixture and combine thoroughly. Form meat into an 8 x 4 x 1 1/2 inch loaf in shallow baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, combine 1/4 cup ketchup and syrup; spread over top of meat loaf last 10 minutes of baking. Allow to stand 5 minutes. 6 servings.
