EGG AND CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
20 slices white bread 1 lb. Velveeta cheese 1/2 lb. butter 8 eggs 4 c. milk Lightly grease a 9"x13" pan. Trim crust from bread and cut bread into pieces; place in the bottom of a greased pan; melt cheese and butter in the top of a double boiler, pour over the bread pieces. Beat together eight eggs and four cups of milk; pour over bread and cheese mixture. Do not stir or mix recipe in the pan. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hours until done. Optional: Bacon, mushrooms, onions, etc. on top. |
