HONEY CRUNCH 
3 c. Quacker Corn Bran cereal
1 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned), uncooked
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts (pecans)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. honey or white Karo syrup (I use white Karo)
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Heat oven to 325 degrees. In large bowl, combine cereal, oats, nuts, cinnamon, and salt. In samll sauce pan, combine butter, brown sugar, and honey or syrup. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until butter is melted and ingredients are well blended. Pour over cereal mixture, mix until coated. Spread evenly onto a foil lined 15 x 10 jelly roll pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Immediately spread on paper covered cooling rack or you can just stir on the foil coated pan while cooling to separate. Stir in raisins if desired. Cool, completely. Store in tightly covered container in a cool dry place. Makes about 7 cups.
