ESCALLOPED APPLES 
3 c. apples, sliced
2 c. onions, sliced
3/4 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 - 1 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed

Place apples and onions in layers in 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle each layer with brown sugar, butter and salt. Repeat until dish is filled. Sprinkle corn flakes on top. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Delicious with pork, also beef. Serves 6 to 8.
