DOUBLE-LAYER NUT FUDGE 
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
16 marshmallows
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate morsels
1/2 c. butterscotch morsels
Nut halves (optional)

In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar, butter, marshmallows, salt and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and is bubbly all over top. Boil and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes more. Remove from heat; add vanilla.

Pour half of mixture into a heatproof bowl. To 1/2 of the mixture, add the chocolate morsels. To the other half, add the butterscotch morsels. Beat each half until morsels are melted. Spread one part in buttered 9 x 5 inch pan. Spread the other part over first layer.

Press nut halves on top if desired. Cool and cut into 24 pieces. One cup marshmallow creme may be substituted for marshmallows.
