MILDRED'S QUICK BEET PICKLES 
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 c. beet juice, drained
1 stick cinnamon, broken
6 whole cloves
2 cans beets, sliced, chunks or whole

Combine vinegar, sugar, beet juice, and spices. Heat and pour over beets. Cool and store in refrigerator.

Syrup can be used at least twice.
