DUMPLINGS 
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. lard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
Flour

Put flour in bowl, make a well in the middle of flour. Put the remaining ingredients in well in flour. Stir until the dough is well mixed and stiff enough to roll out on a floured board. Cut in strips long ways and then again cross ways. Put in boiling chicken broth. Cook until done.
