DANISH DUMPLINGS 
1 c. water
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt

Put water on to boil. Add salt and butter. When butter is melted, add flour all of one (like for cream puffs). Remove from heat, stir in flour well and let cool. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well, after each egg. Drop batter by small spoonfuls into broth or stew. Cook covered for 12 minutes or longer, keeping the broth just barely boiling. Very good.
