ENDIVE SALAD 
1 bunch endive
1/2 lb. bacon (more or less as desired)
2 tsp. cider vinegar
2 1/2 tsp. flour, more if needed

Fry bacon in large skillet. Remove and let cool. Blend flour and water (to make gravy). Blend into fat over low heat. Add vinegar and stir until smooth. Blend everything together.
