NO-NOODLE LASAGNA | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. basil leaves 1 (12 oz.) carton dry cottage cheese (1 1/2 c.) 1/4 c. grated Romano cheese 1 1/2 lbs. zucchini, cut lengthwise 1 egg 2 tbsp. flour 1 pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and drain. Mix tomato sauce with garlic salt, basil and oregano. Heat to boiling - reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Use a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Mix cottage cheese, Romano and egg. Layer half each zucchini, flour, cheese mixture, meat, sauce, Mozzarella. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Let stand 20 minutes before serving. Cut into squares. |
