CARAMEL COOKIES 
1 c. butter (no substitutes)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour

Mix together and chill. Make into tiny balls. Marble size and flatten with a fork. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

Burn 1/4 cup white sugar. Add and burn real well enough hot water to make thin syrup. Take 3 tablespoons of syrup, 3 tablespoons of butter and 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and make frosting. Put 2 cookies together with filling.
