FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. fresh, frozen or canned fruit

Place butter in a baking dish and melt in oven while preparing cobbler.

Mix flour, sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour this over melted butter, then drop fruit all over top of mixture. Bake until brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.
