BASIC RECIPE:

2 (21 oz.) Pillsbury Deluxe Fudge Brownie Mix
1 c. very hot tap water
1 c. oil
2 eggs

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of two 13 x 9 inch pans. In large bowl, combine all brownie ingredients; beat about 75 strokes with spoon. Spread half of batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool completely. Frost with recipe Peppermint Brownies or Peanut Butter Brownies (see this section).
