SAUSAGE BREAD 
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1 lb. sausage (any kind - I like sage)
1 onion, chopped
1/2 to 1 green pepper, chopped
4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
2 beaten eggs
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Optional: pizza or spaghetti sauce, any kind

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spread thawed bread dough on greased cookie sheet or jelly roll pan. Brown sausage, onion and green pepper. Drain off fat. Add mushrooms and eggs, cook until eggs are done. Remove from heat and spread over dough within 1/4 inch of edges. Sprinkle shredded cheese over sausage. Working with long side, carefully roll up, jelly roll fashion, ending with seam side down. Pinch ends and tuck under.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes - cut in serving pieces with serrated knife. May serve with heated pizza or spaghetti sauce.
