STUFFED JALAPENO PEPPERS 
2 packages cream cheese blocks
sliced bacon
garlic powder
jalapeno peppers

Use gloves to cut open peppers into a book shape. Do not break into halves. Mix the cream cheese and garlic powder in a bowl. Use a spoon to fill the peppers with the cream cheese and when done, close the peppers. Cook bacon and wrap the bacon around the peppers and put the peppers on a cookie sheet.

Preheat the oven to 350°F to 400°F and put the peppers in the oven and let them cook for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

I added shredded cheddar cheese to the softened cream cheese, thus reducing the amount of cream cheese used. Yummy!

We use Poblano peppers. Also slice them like a book. Take out the seeds, stuff with pepper jack cheese, close them. Wrap bacon all around and grill! FABULOUS!

This is real good but I like to fry crumbled sausage and mix it in the creme cheese. Cut jalapenos in half, put sausage/creme cheese mixture on half cut jalapeno, then bake or grill.

These are a family favorite! Ive never thought to cut & fold back over! One trick I learned was to cover a muffin pan with nonstick foil & poke holes with a knife over the muffin hole & place the peppers on that. This makes the bacon more crispy since the grease has a place to run out!
