CRANBERRY NUT COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. white sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 6 oz. pkg sweetened dried cranberries, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Drop by spoon fulls on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until brown. Cool on cookie sheet for two minutes before removing to wire rack.

Makes about five dozen cookies.
