ICEBOX VANILLA NUT COOKIES 
2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add sugar gradually and cream well. Add egg, nuts and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Mix well. Shape into rolls and wrap in wax paper. Refrigerate overnight. Slice thin rounds and bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes or until lightly brown. Makes about 3 dozen.
