BAKLAVA
4 c. walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 lb. phyllo dough
1 c. butter (2 sticks) melted
1 (12 oz.) jar honey

Grease 9"x13" baking dish. In large bowl mix walnuts, sugar and cinnamon until well blended.

Cut phyllo into 9"x13" rectangles. In baking dish, place one sheet of phyllo, then brush with melted butter. Repeat with 5 more layers, buttering each one. Sprinkle 1 cup of walnut mixture over last buttered sheet. Repeat this layering 2 times. Place remaining dough on top of last walnut layer, brush with butter. With sharp knife, cut halfway through layers in a triangle pattern.

Bake at 300 degrees for about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.

Meanwhile, heat honey in saucepan. Spoon hot honey over baked baklava. Cool in pan at least 1 hour. To Serve: cut through remaining layers. Makes about 24 servings.
