FLAKY PIE CRUST 
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 tsp. vinegar
Cold water

Blend first 3 ingredients. Put egg and vinegar in a cup and mix. Add enough cold water to make 1 cup. Combine flour mixture and egg water. Divide dough in 6 parts. Use immediately or freeze.
