STUFFED CABBAGE 
Put cabbage in freeze, leaves will separate. Then dip in hot water for separation and softness. Mix:

3 tbsp. raw rice
1 1/4 lb. ground beef or turkey
Bread crumbs
1 egg
A bit of water
Salt
Pepper

Or any basic meatloaf recipe.

Put a tablespoon of meatloaf mixture in a flat leaf of cabbage. Roll, tuck in left side. Roll, tuck in right side. Keep rolls small.

Cut up an onion in bottom of big pot. Put in a handful of rinsed sauerkraut. Add raisins, pepper, some honey. Layer the pot with cabbage rolls and continue until pot is full. Add 1 quart tomato juice. Cook for 1 hour or so. Serve with bread.
