3 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, cream of tartar and soda. Cut in butter. Beat eggs and sugar together until frothy. Add to previous mixture. Add vanilla. Chill. Roll out and cut with cookie cutter. Bake in 350 degree oven. May be frosted if you like.
