HILLBILLY CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Creamettes
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper
1 can cream style corn
4 tbsp. green pepper, chopped
1 cup shredded American cheese
1 can cream of tomato soup

Cook Creamettes; drain. Set aside. Brown meat and onion; season. Layer 1/2 Creamettes in bottom of a 2 quart, greased casserole. Place meat on top. Pour 1/2 corn on meat. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons green pepper and 1/2 cheese on top. Repeat. Pour tomato soup on top and top with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 12. Also good without the Creamettes.
