LUNCH STICKS 
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 eggs
2 yolks
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 dry yeast-1/4 c. warm water
2 c. scalded milk
8 1/2 c. flour (use all purpose non sifted)

Mix milk, sugar and salt; let cool. Add beaten eggs, yolk, shortening, and nutmeg. Add about 6 cups flour. Add yeast water. Roll on board, kneading in rest of flour (about 10 min.). Let rise till double, punch down. Let rise then roll out 1/2-inch thick. Cut in strips about 2x4. Let rise 1 hour. Deep fry at 375°F.
