BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
3 to 6 bananas, mashed well
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts

Melt butter; add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Sift flour and soda together. Mix mashed bananas and flour mixture with egg mixture. Add nuts and mix.

Bake at 350°F in greased and floured tube pan or square pan for 45 minutes. Do not use electric mixer.
