RAISIN COOKIES 
3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. milk
2 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
Flour, enough to make a soft dough

Mix sugar, butter, milk and eggs, then add dry ingredients and mix. Flour counter top and roll dough. Use cookie cutter to cut dough, a thimble works well to make small hole in top cookie.

Filling: 1 1/2 c. raisins 1 1/2 c. water 2 tsp. vanilla 4 tbsp. flour

Mix together and cook until thick. Spread on cookie and put cookie with thimble hole on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown.
