1 c. smooth peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Mix well. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press each ball with fork in criss-cross design. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
