EASY TUNA CASSEROLE | |
1 box (7 1/4 oz.) macaroni and cheese dinner 1 can (10 oz.) cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. milk 1 can (6 1/8 oz.) tuna, drained 1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained (optional) 1 c. grated cheese 1 can (15 oz.) English peas, drained Prepare macaroni and cheese according to directions on box. Blend cream of mushroom soup and milk. Stir into macaroni and cheese with tuna, mushrooms and 1/2 cup of the grated cheese. Mix well and fold in the peas. Put in casserole dish that has been buttered or sprayed with non stick agent. Top with remaining cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly, 20 to 30 minutes. NOTE: This dish can be prepared ahead of time, refrigerated and popped into oven. it can also be varied; more cheese can be added; different vegetables can be substituted instead of the peas, and cream of chicken soup can be used instead of cream of mushroom soup. |
