KENTUCKY BUTTER RUM CAKE 
CAKE:

1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. rum extract

Combine cake ingredients and mix with mixer for about 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. While still hot, poke holes all over cake with an ice pick all the way through. On stove, mix 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup of water and 1/2 cup of butter in saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 tablespoon of rum extract. Pour sauce over top of cake and leave in pan until completely cool. Remove and drizzle glaze over cake.
