APRICOT BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped cooked apricots

For bottom layer mix butter, sugar and 1 cup flour until crumbly. Pack into a buttered 9 inch square cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool for a few minutes and spread with top layer.

For top layer combine all ingredients and mix well. (If apricots need to be cooked yet, rinse them, cover with cold water, bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Drain, cool and chop.)

After spreading this top layer on the bottom layer, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
