DRUNKEN COOKIES (PANECILLOS
BORRACHITOS)
 
1 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour, sifted
Dry red wine
Cinnamon
Sugar

Cream shortening and sugar. Add the egg yolks and salt. Add the flour alternately with enough wine to make a soft cookie dough. Roll out on a lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Dust with cinnamon and sugar while they are hot.
