1/2 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. flour
3 c. flour
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all except butter and vanilla. Cook slowly until thickens. Take off heat and add butter and vanilla; let cool.
