SCALLOP POTATOES AND HOT DOGS 
4 lg. potatoes, sliced
1 sm. onion, diced
6 hot dogs, sliced in 1/4 inch rounds
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 soup can of milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. grated cheese, opt.

In large buttered casserole dish, alternate, layers of potatoes, onions, hot dogs and seasonings, end up with potatoes on top. Dilute mushroom soup with milk, and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake covered at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Serves 5 or 6.
