1 loaf frozen bread, thawed 1 lb. ground pork 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 lg. onion, sliced fine 1 med. head of cabbage, shredded Onion salt Black pepper 1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese 1 egg, beaten 1 jar spaghetti sauce Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese Cook pork, mushrooms, onion and cabbage until brown. Drain. Add onion, salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. Roll out dough, not overly thin. Spoon about 1/2 cup mixture and sprinkle with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Fold, cut out into pockets, pinch together. Repeat until dough is all used. Place pockets on greased cookie sheet and brush with egg. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with warm spaghetti sauce for dipping. Sprinkle Parmesan as desired. |
