REUBEN MEATLOAF 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger beef
1 1/2 c. rye bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. onion
1 egg
1 (14 oz.) jar or can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
1 c. Swiss cheese

Combine meat, crumbs, salt, onion, and egg in large bowl. Place 1/2 of mixture in loaf pan and cover with sauerkraut and cheese. Place rest of meat mixture over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
