OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1/3 c. molasses
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/4 c. raisins

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in molasses. Stir dry ingredients together and blend in. Add oats, nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonsful about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees or until lightly brown.
