TAMALE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 pork steaks, cut in cubes
1 sm. can olives
1 sm. onion
1 sm. bell pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp. each chili powder, paprika, barbeque powder and salt and pepper

Brown meat; add seasonings and simmer 20 minutes. Mix cornmeal mush and stir into pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

CORNMEAL MUSH:

Boil 2 1/2 cups water and 1 1/2 teaspoon salt over direct heat. Mix 3/4 cup cornmeal mush with 1 cup cold water; add mixture slowly to boiling water stirring constantly. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes stirring frequently.
