JEWELED CHEESE BALL 
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheese
1/2 c. chopped olives
1/4 c. green peppers, chopped
1/4 c. red peppers, chopped
1/2 c. sweet cream butter, softened
1 tbsp. rum
1/2 c. toasted pecans

Combine ingredients in a large mixing bowl except the pecans. Beat at medium speed scraping bowl often until well blended. Shape mixture into large ball or make into a log.

Roll in toasted pecans. Cover. Refrigerate. Remove from refrigerator 1/2 hour before serving. Serve with assorted crackers. Yields 1 cheese ball or 1 cheese log.
