KENDALL'S CHOCOLATE CHIP & PECAN
COOKIES
 
3/4 c. buttery flavored Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine flour, salt and baking soda; set aside. Cream Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in bowl. Add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies and 11 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
