MESSY MARVIN 
2 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion, chopped fine
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 med. green pepper, chopped fine
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Tabasco
1/4 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. chili powder
Buns or bread

Start hamburger browning in a good-sized skillet. Add onion, garlic, and green pepper. After onion cooks down a little, add everything else except the oatmeal. Stir everything in well and keep cooking until hamburger is almost done; add oatmeal, then turn heat down to simmer to finish cooking and let all the spices blend in.
