CHICKEN BREASTS PIQUANT 
1 1/2 c. rose or dry red wine (or cooking sherry)
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. salad oil
4 tbsp. water
2 cloves garlic, sliced
2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 whole chicken breasts

Arrange the chicken breasts in baking dish. Pour mixture of all the above ingredients over the chicken. Refrigerate or freeze. When ready to serve, return to room temperature, bake at 375 degrees about 1 hour. Cover for the last 40 minutes. Serve with rice. (This may also be made with cut-up whole chicken).
