CHERRY PAN PIE 
1 cube butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Scant 1/2 c. milk
1/2 can water
3/4 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can sour pitted cherries (water pack)

Melt butter in 12 x 9 inch pan (Pyrex) while mixing all ingredients (except cherries). Cover mixture with heated sweetened cherries. Bake in moderate oven until brown on top.
