CHEESECAKE COFFEE CAKE | |
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. crescent rolls 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 1 egg, separated 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tsp. lemon or lime juice Butter a 9"x13" pan. Place 1 package crescent rolls in pan; pat to cover bottom. Combine cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice and spread in pan. Top with second package of crescent rolls. Brush with egg white mixed with 1 teaspoon water. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving. Refrigerate any leftovers. |
