CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
3 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 (heaping) tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Sift together and set aside the sugar and flour. Melt in saucepan the butter, cocoa and water. Bring to a rapid boil. Pour over flour sugar mixture and stir well. Add the buttermilk (1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar in 1/2 cup milk), soda, cinnamon, vanilla and eggs. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes in jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Make icing while cake bakes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. canned milk
1 lb. box powdered sugar (4 1/2 c., sifted)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sm. marshmallows (optional)

Melt and bring to a slow boil the butter, cocoa and canned milk. Remove from heat, add powdered sugar, vanilla, pecans and marshmallows, if desired. Beat well. This is rich and delicious.
