CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
Cake:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

Frosting:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, sugar and salt. Put butter, water and cocoa to boil. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. In another bowl, put eggs, soda, milk and vanilla; add to mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes in a greased and floured sheet cake pan.

Frosting: Heat, not boil, all ingredients in nonstick saucepan. DO NOT LET SIT. Spread quickly. Pecans on top are optional.
