3/4 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans (opt)

Cook first four ingredients on medium heat and stir occasionally until the chocolate will make a soft ball when dropped in cold water. When cooled add butter, vanilla and pecans. Allow to harden and cut into squares.
