WALDORF SALAD 
2 crisp red apples, unpeeled and coarsely diced
1/2 lemon
1 c. celery, sliced
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Mayonnaise, just enough to moisten

Squeeze lemon over diced apples and toss to prevent apples from browning. Combine apple mixture with rest of ingredients and mix. Heap in crisp lettuce ups and decorate with walnut halves. Serves 6.
