WILD RICE 
1 can beef consomme
1 can onion soup
1 can sliced mushrooms (you may use fresh mushrooms)
1/2 lb. smoked sausage, sliced and boiled a little to remove excess fat
1/2 block butter
1-1/4 cup raw long-grain rice

Combine all ingredients and bake at 425°F, covered, for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.
