HAMBURGER CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef 1 green pepper, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1 can tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni 1 tbsp. ketchup 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 c. grated cheddar cheese Brown meat, pepper and onion. Pour off grease. In a blender add tomatoes and juice. Mix until smooth and add to meat. Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 30 minutes. Cook macaroni; drain and rinse. Mix macaroni and soup with meat sauce. Pour into a casserole dish. Top with grated cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with a tossed salad. |
