STUFFED BEEF ROLLS 
6 cubed steaks
Salt & pepper to taste
1 3/4 c. (about 1/2 pkg. ready-mix stuffing, Pepperidge Farm dressing)
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. oil
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1/8 tsp. ground cloves

Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Combine bread stuffing, water and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well. Spread stuffing on steaks, roll like a jelly roll, tie with a string.

Heat cooking oil with garlic in a saucepan with tight fitting lid. Brown beef rolls on all sides. Remove rolls from pan. Add tomato sauce, ground cloves, cover, bring to a boil, reduce heat, return rolls to pan, add water to half cover rolls. Simmer 1 hour with lid on. More water may be added as liquid cooks.
