2 heaping tbsp. flour
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. brown sugar
Pinch of salt
2 c. milk
1 egg, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
Marshmallows (opt.)

Mix flour, cocoa, sugar and salt. Add a little milk and stir well. Add the rest of the milk and cook, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture thickens. Remove pan from heat and add 1 egg yolk. Stir briskly to avoid yolk cooking before it's mixed in. Cook a little longer then add 1 beaten egg white. May add marshmallows. Serves 4.
